Hiring entertainment for your event is a big deal! Questions and inquiries are always welcome. Below we have provided answers to some common questions to further illustrate what Absolute is all about:

Absolute is built on over a decade of Kaleb McEwen's live entertainment experience. Kaleb received his degree in Music Performance from Western Illinois University in 2008 and has been teaching and performing music ever since- both in live bands and DJ work in areas across the U.S., from Moline, IL, to Omaha, NE, to Nashville, TN, to his now permanent home here in Minnesota. Kaleb is an award-winning DJ here in Minnesota.
How would you define Absolute's "style" or approach to DJ'ing events?
As stated in our About Us section, Absolute tailors each performance to the specific desires and needs of the client. Some clients want an event that has active guest participation and involvement and others may prefer a more laid-back or formal approach. Absolute stands ready to deliver in whatever way is preferred by the client. We can incorporate as many, or as little, crowd participation games and other activities as the client prefers. No two wedding days are alike and we feel no two DJ performances should be alike.
How much does it cost to book a services through Absolute?
Each booking is quoted a customized price based on the date, location of the event and how much DJ time is needed. Please call/text 612-216-5937 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a customized quote!
What are the payment requirements to book an Absolute DJ?
A non-refundable reservation down payment is required with your signed contract to book Absolute for your event. Once the reservation fee is received, your event is logged in our calendar and confirmed. The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to your event. Payment options accepted are Venmo or check.
What is included in the price for booking a DJ?
In each customized quote, you get an agreed-upon amount of performance time, all professional sound equipment and music required, dance floor lighting and microphones. Your DJ will also serve as your "master of ceremonies," coordinating with both you and the venue in communicating announcements and overall desired interaction with your guests. All essential ingredients to make your event fun and successful are included in each quote, with no hidden fees.
Is Absolute insured?
We carry full liability insurance. We are happy to provide you or the venue with a copy of our insurance policy upon request.
Can I meet with you before making a decision?

What is Absolute's refund policy?
Refund requests must be received in writing no later than 90 days prior to your event date. Requests received less than 90 days prior to your event date cannot be granted.
Refunds are typically issued within 60 days of the date Absolute is notified in writing.
How involved can I be in choosing music for my event? Do you take guests' requests?
You can be as involved as you would like! The more we know about your music choices and tastes, the better! Yes, we always take guests' requests as long as it is okay with the client(s) hosting the event.
Will I meet the DJ after I book with Absolute?
We highly suggest having an in-person meeting prior to your event, if possible. Not only does it make it easier to plan your event, but it helps us create a great connection with you! In addition to a face-to-face meeting, Absolute is also available by phone or email to address any additional questions or concerns you may have throughout the planning stage.
